MTSU will add 24,000 square feet to its nursing school with a $737,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to enable MTSU to train more nurses to help abate the growing nursing shortage. Last year, MTSU's nursing program received a $1 million grant from the HHS and $2 million from the Christy-Houston Foundation. (Nashville Business Journal, Oct. 7, 2005)
