The opening of new residential facilities is creating new opportunities for current employees as well as for the University.

Four new positions are available. They are assistant director for housing operations, assistant director for housing services, area coordinator for Hand Village and technical clerk. Persons filling these positions will assist in the operations and management of on-campus housing.

The director of auxiliary services position, previously held by Chris Reed, also is available. Duties include monitoring and reconciling AP Dining meal plans, coordinating vending services and developing and managing budgets for all auxiliary units. The person filling the position also will be responsible for supervision of postal services, printing services and University contract management. A full description of the position, along with the required qualifications, is available on the APSU Human Resources Web page.

Funding for auxiliary services positions comes from University operations, including housing and bookstore and food services. APSU educational and general funds are not used to fund these positions.

Employees working under modified contracts will be given strong consideration for these positions.
