“‘Bread and Words feed hungry'” was highlighted in The Leaf-Chronicle's “Community” section Dec. 8. The photo featured Barry Kitterman, associate professor of English, and Blas Falconer, assistant professor of languages and literature.

The APSU Wind Ensemble's Dec. 9 concert was listed in The Leaf-Chronicle's “Calendar” section Dec. 8-9.

“APSU fans strive to brighten holiday for military families,” a story on APSU's toy collection to benefit the Fort Campbell Little Soldiers Tree during the Dec. 9 basketball game, made the front page of The Leaf-Chronicle's “Local” section Dec. 11. Development Officer Rip Watts was featured in the accompanying photograph.

Dr. Howard Winn, professor emeritus of history, was featured in The Leaf-Chronicle's “Communities” section Dec. 15. He was photographed telling members of the Sevier Station Society Children of the American Revolution about history of Sevier Station and Fort Defiance.
