Massinon to appear in concert

The Austin Peay State University Department of Music will present a concert featuring Francis Massinon, a French horn player and member of the APSU faculty.

The concert will start at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 24 in the Music/Mass Communication Building Concert Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.

Massinon teaches Music Theory, as well as Horn and Horn Ensemble at APSU. Under Massinons direction, the Horn Ensemble has been invited to perform at various International Horn Society workshops. He frequently performs with the APSU Woodwind and Brass ensembles.

Apart from his contributions at APSU, Massinon has served as the principal hornist with both the Paducah and Jackson symphonies.

Pianist Anne Glass will accompany Massinon during the concert.
