To volunteer to serve as host in the alumni hospitality tent, please contact Shelia Boone, director of alumni and annual giving, by telephone at least one week prior to the game.

Boone, who also serves as executive director of the APSU National Alumni Association, said, “These hospitality tent functions provide an excellent opportunity for alumni from specific areas to get involved and show support for their local chapter and for APSU.

“They can reunite with college classmates and meet new alumni and friends. It's a great chance for networking also.”

Alumni and friends are welcome to stop by and visit with local chapter representatives. Alumni will have an opportunity to confirm their current contact information, pick up APSU memorabilia and enjoy complimentary refreshments.

“Many of us remember the excitement and rivalries when we used to play OVC football, and we're really looking forward to the ‘Return to Tradition' this fall and the promise of great things to come,” Boone said. “For alumni, it's a chance to get behind one of our ownalumnus and head coach, Rick Christophel.”

Boone said she encourages alumni to come early to participate in the tailgating activities before heading into the stands to cheer on the Govs. “We want to make every game a memorable experience,” Boone said.
