List of candidates down to 15

The Austin Peay State University Presidential Search Advisory Committee will meet at 12:45 p.m., Tuesday, April 3 in the Morgan University Center, Iris Room to trim the list of 15 candidates to three to five finalists. Members of the search committee will meet for lunch at noon.

Here are the 15 candidates under consideration:
Robert H. Adams, Ed.D., vice chancellor for business and finance at the Tennessee Board of Regents.
Linda L. M. Bennett, Ph.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Ind. Kaylene A. Gebert, Ph.D., executive vice president and provost at Middle Tennessee State University, Murfreesboro.
Timothy L. Hall, J.D., associate provost and associate vice chancellor of academic affairs at the University of Mississippi.
Michelle R. Howard-Vital, Ph.D., interim chancellor at Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina.
Thomas J. Hynes Jr., Ph.D., vice president for academic affairs and acting president at the University of West Georgia, Carrollton.
Ann Candler Lotven, Ed.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs and professor at Texas A University — Texarkana.
Roosevelt Newson, D.M.A., provost and vice president for academic affairs and professor of music at the University of North Alabama, Florence.
