Lecture tonight by Sudan refugee

Austin Peay State University Student Life and Leadership and International Education are proud to host a lecture by Simon Deng, a refugee from Sudan, as part of the Global Govs Passport Series.

The event, titled The Crisis in Sudan, takes place at 5 tonight in the Morgan University Center, room 303-305.

In March 2006, Deng launched the Sudan Freedom Walk, which traveled 300 miles on foot from U.N. headquarters in New York City to Washington, D.C., to raise awareness for the crisis in Sudan and call for an end to slavery and genocide.
