The Lady Govs got good news with the return of sophomore Pier-Ann LaChance, who missed last week's action at Samford with recurring back problems. The Lady Govs top player so far this season is being joined by senior Lynn Mantooth, sophomores Christine Idoux and Erin Wise and freshman Amanda Rose.

The tourney will feature several teams the Lady Govs haven't seen this year. “The first day we are paired with Oral Roberts and Texas-Corpus Christi,” says APSU Coach Sara Burkhead says. “In the past they have been pretty good. That's good when you are paired with good teams. It has a tendency to make you play better.”
