Kentucky author to present reading at Austin Peay

Kentucky author Silas House, who penned his debut novel Clays Quilt, will present a reading from his work at 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 26 in Gentry Auditorium at Austin Peay State University.

The reading, sponsored by APSUs Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts, is free and open to the public. A reception and book signing will follow the event.

The reading is part of the weeklong Tennessee Young Writers Workshop, a summer event for young writers, July 24-28 at APSU.
Kentucky author Silas House, who penned his debut novel “Clay's Quilt,” will present a reading from his work at 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 26 in Gentry Auditorium at Austin Peay State University.

In addition to “Clay's Quilt,” House is the author of the national best-seller, “A Parchment of Leaves.” The book was nominated for more than 20 top national and international prizes and made several top 10 lists. He also authored “The Coal Tattoo,” another award-winning novel.
