Items, donations needed for flood relief

President Barack Obama declared flood-ravaged middle Tennessee a federal disaster area Tuesday, May 4. There are many members of the Clarksville community who have been affected by this disastrous event and need our help now more than ever.
President Barack Obama declared flood-ravaged middle Tennessee a federal disaster area Tuesday, May 4. There are many members of the Clarksville community who have been affected by this disastrous event and need our help now more than ever.

People rely on the American Red Cross to respond immediately and effectively in any emergency situation, including this weekend's flooding. To help with this effort, we have coordinated drop-off locations on campus to collect items that are in need. Items will be collected until May 14, 2010. Drop-off locations are the Morgan University Center lobby, the Foy Fitness and Recreation Center and the Office of Admissions.

If you would like to make a monetary donation, please bring checks payable to the American Red Cross to the Office of Student Life and Leadership, MUC 211.

Volunteers Needed


To volunteer with flood cleanup in Clarksville, call the Community Action Agency at (931) 648-5774 ext. 103.
