Tickets are on sale for the music department's annual Holiday Gala, which will be held Saturday, Dec. 6.

The gala commences with a festive holiday feast at 6 p.m. in the Morgan University Center Ballroom, followed by the holiday collage concert at 7:30 p.m. in the music/mass communication building concert theatre.

The concert will feature holiday music performed by Austin Peay's Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Marching Band, Pep Band, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Opera Workshop, Woodwind Ensemble, Flute Choir, Brass Choir, Jazz Collegians, Jazz Combo, Percussion Ensemble and Guitar Ensemble.

“The collage concert concept allows the community to experience the vast diversity and musical excellence of the entire array of ensembles within the department,” says Allen Henderson, APSU associate professor of music. “Last year's attendees and participants marveled at the magnificent array of talent within the department.”

The cost of admission is $35 for dinner and the concert. Admission for the concert alone is $15 for adults and $7 for students.

Those who attend the dinner will be shuttled to the concert hall for the performance.

Tickets are available weekdays from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. in the music/mass communication building, room 139.
