Health Services changes hours, expands women's services

Boyd Health Services is changing its hours of service, effective Feb. 2.

The clinic will be open 7 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. It will be closed to non-emergency walk-ins on Thursdays in order to provide an appointment-only womens health clinic.

According to Leslie Nelson, secretary in Health Services, the expanded womens health clinic will allow for longer interaction between the patient and family nurse practitioner, as well as womens health education, pap smears, breast exams and STD testing.
