Faculty members noted for expertise

Faculty and staff at Austin Peay State University recently brought recognition to the University through their professional, scholarly and personal development activities.

Dr. Harvey Blanck, emeritus professor of chemistry, published an article, titled Using Spreadsheets to Emulate Diffusion and Thermal Conductivity, in the May 2009 issue of the Journal of Chemical Education. Dr. Gregg Steinberg, associate professor of sports psychology, was quoted in the Sept. 22, 2009, edition of The Chicago Tribune in a story about Chicago Cubs' Milton Bradley. Steinberg said that Bradley “has physical skills and mental toughness, but not that third ingredient — emotional toughness.”
