Drew elected chair of TBR Student President's Council

Christopher S. Drew was recently elected as chair of the Tennessee Board of Regents Student Presidents Council.

Drew, currently serving his second term as Student Government Association president at Austin Peay State University, is a senior majoring in business with a concentration in finance.

He will be responsible for the organization of quarterly meetings of all SGA presidents in the TBR system, presiding over the meetings of the Council and presiding over the March 2010 student regent and THEC student representative selections.

Additionally, Drew will serve on the TBR Strategic Planning Oversight Committee, which will be developing the 2010-15 strategic plan for the Tennessee Board of Regents.

Drew is the only two-term SGA president in the state of Tennessee.
