Members of the music faculty of APSU and invited guest artists and composers present the Dimensions New Music Series. Nash, a native of Flint, Mich., is associate professor of music at Fisk University in Nashville. He teaches and coordinates courses in music theory, technology, composition and applied woodwinds and conducts the Fisk Jazz Ensemble.

Gail Robinson-Oturu, soprano, and pianist Anne Glass will perform three of Nash's songs. Thomas King, tenor, and Glass will present another one of Nash's songs, titled “Invitation to Love.” Richard Steffen and David Steinquest will perform “Six Interlocutions for Trumpet and Percussion,” representing Nash's instrumental compositions.

“Ne reprenez si j'ai aime (Do not reproach me if I've loved)” by Jeffrey Wood is a new song cycle based on poems of the Renaissance poet Louise Labe. The first performance of the cycle will be presented by Lisa Conklin-Bishop, mezzo-soprano, and Wood, pianist.
