Daniel named OVC “Pitcher of the Week”

APSU baseball player Brad Daniel was named the Ohio Valley Conferences Pitcher of the Week March 14.

Daniel, a junior from Dickson, had a hand in each of the Govs three victories last week. He picked up both the victories in the Govs doubleheader against Indiana State, going 1.1 innings in each contest. He is the first APSU pitcher to win both ends of a doubleheader since Jeff Mault accomplished the feat at Southeast Missouri last season. In the second game against ISU, Daniel completed the Govs shutout victory, giving him a hand in both of APSU's shutouts this season.
