Concert Hall site of 2006-07 Community Concert season

Austin Peay State University Music/Mass Communication Building Concert Hall, recognized as one of the nations top 10 performance halls, will be the site of five music performances as part of the 2006-07 Clarksville Community Concert Association Series.

The shows begin Oct. 26 with Weston Hurt, baritone. The rest of the lineup includes Routa Kroumovitch-Gomez, violin, Jan. 18, 2007; Marian Anderson String Quartet, Feb. 14, 2007; St. Louis Brass Quintet, March 27, 2007; and the Sam Yahel Jazz Trio, April 14, 2007. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m.

Season memberships, individual concert tickets and group discounts are available. APSU students who present a valid Govs identification card are admitted free.

Those who purchase season memberships by Sept. 22 will receive a complimentary ticket to hear Cantus, a renowned male vocal ensemble, at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 25 in APSU's Concert Hall.
Earlier this year, Austin Peay's Concert Hall was featured by The Robb Report as one of the top 10 “premiere concert halls” in the nation.
