Parents, Children and DivorceMontgomery County is the state-mandated course divorcing parents with minor children are required to take before the divorce is granted. The father and mother do not attend class at the same time, and children are not permitted to attend. Classes will be held from 5:45 p.m.-9:45 p.m., Tuesday, March 18 or Thursday, March 27, in Clement, room 132 on the APSU campus. The course and textbook fee is $30.

“Microsoft Access Basics” teaches students how to use Microsoft's database to store, locate and print almost any type of important information. Students will learn how to create tables, customize data entry forms and merge data in Access tables with Microsoft Word form letters. Classes run from 6-8 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 20-April 3, at 106 Public Square, Clarksville. The course fee is $81, the lab fee is $5 and the textbook costs $28.

“Keyboarding Basics” uses interactive software to teach “touch-type” technique and effective keyboarding. Perfect for absolute beginners and those who would like to improve their typing technique. Classes run from 6-8 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, March 26-April 9, at 106 Public Square, Clarksville. The course fee is $81, the lab fee is $5 and the textbook costs $30.

“IC3Internet & Computer Competency Certification with Test” offers students the preparation they need to take the new IC3 certification exam to show they have the accepted level of basic computer and Internet literacy. Classes run from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, March 26-April 9, at 106 Public Square, Clarksville. The course fee is $162, the lab fee is $5 and the text costs $39.

“MS Publisher & CorelDraw” teaches the basics of producing professional quality newsletters and brochures by exploring techniques to import and manipulate pictures and clip art, insert tables and text from other programs and employ principles of good layout and design. Classes run from 6-8 p.m., Monday, March 31-May 5, in Harned, Room 201 on the APSU campus. The course fee is $81, and the supply fee is $35.

"Sign LanguageIntermediate” teaches conversational-level sign language to the intermediate-level signer. Both expressive and receptive signing will be used in the context of phrases and sentences and deaf culture, and fingerspelling will be presented. Classes run from 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, March 11-April 15, at 106 Public Square, Clarksville. The course fee is $81 and the textbook costs $25.

“Comp TIA A+ (MCP)” is designed to give technicians at the entry level of the IT industry the skills they need to succeed. This course is recommended as a prerequisite for the MCP and MCSA 2000 class tracks. Classes meet from 5-10 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays March 31-April 23, at 106 Public Square, Clarksville. The course fee is $675, the textbook is $59 and the lab fee is $10. Register for three MCP classes and receive 15 percent off each course fee!
