Middle Tennessee State University is claiming more undergraduates than the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. With a total enrollment of 21,163, MTSU is now the largest institution in the Tennessee Board of Regents System. That number also is approaching UTs total enrollment, according to Ron Simmons, TBRs vice chancellor of business and finance.
