Community urged to participate in 2005 Homecoming Parade Nov. 5

As APSUs 2005 Homecoming theme says, its the Greatest Show on Earth, and APSU wants to put you in the center ring!

APSU officials encourage the community to be part of the Homecoming Parade, which begins at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 5, in the Burt Parking Lot, Eight and Marion streets. It will wind its way along Eighth Street, turning right onto College Street, then onto North Second Street, turning right again at Marion and making a final right as it returns to Burt Parking Lot.

“We're inviting students, faculty and everyone in the community to march in the parade or build a float to support Austin Peay,” said Shaun Ketterman, assistant director, Student Life and Leadership Office.

Following the parade, lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. at the Tennis Center Parking Lot, courtesy of Gait Packaging LLC, with help from the Govs Club and the offices of Student Life and Leadership and Alumni and Annual Giving.
