Child Learning Center maintains accreditation

Austin Peay State University officials have been notified by NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) that the Child Learning Center has maintained its accreditation.

The Child Learning Center was required to meet the new NAEYC Early Childhood Programs Standards and Accreditation Criteria, which became effective in September 2006.

On Nov. 27, 2007, the Child Learning Center director received a letter from the NAEYC Academy for Early Childhood Program Accreditation.

In conclusion, the letter said, “Congratulations on maintaining your NAEYC accreditation and in engaging in continuous improvement to provide high quality care and education for the children and families you serve.”
