The Feb. 10 concert will feature Antonio Vivaldi's “Magnificat” and Eric Whitacre's “Flower Songs,” as well as other pieces from the Renaissance to the present.

This concert is part of the APSU Chamber Singers' spring concert tour. The ensemble tours each year, primarily to Tennessee high schools, to help publicize Austin Peay's music department and recruit young vocalists.

According to Kenaston-French, the group represents the University on regional and national levels, having performed at conventions of the American Choral Directors Association and the Music Educators National Convention. Last year, the ensemble was featured at the Tennessee Music Educators state convention held in April in Nashville.

The concert at the Munford United Methodist Church is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the church office by telephone at (901) 837-8881.
