Center for Extended Education offers online certificate programs in eight fields

The Center for Extended and Distance Education at Austin Peay now offers eight certificate programs online.

Students may earn a certificate in digital design, graphic design, multimedia, administrative medical specialist, advanced coding for the physicians office, medical transcription, Cisco CCNA and travel.

Students may earn a certificate in digital design, graphic design, multimedia, administrative medical specialist, advanced coding for the physician's office, medical transcription, Cisco CCNA and travel.

The online learning format allows students to access the class from their own computer and at their own convenience, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. To access the class, students need a computer with Windows 98, 2000, XP or 2003, Internet access and a Web browser such as Windows Explorer.

These online certificate classes are open and students may enroll at any time. Courses range in length from three to 24 months. Course fees range from $1,200 to $1,900 and include textbooks and necessary learning tools. For some classes, financial aid is available to qualified applicants.
