CCCA to host Chamber Orchestra Kremlin

The Clarksville Community Concert Association and the Austin Peay State University Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts will present a performance from the world-renowned Chamber Orchestra Kremlin.

The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 11 in the Music/Mass Communication Building Concert Hall. Tickets are $25 for adults, $12 for students and APSU students receive free admission with their student ID.

Tickets will be available prior to the performance from 3-7:30 p.m., in the Concert Hall lobby box office.

Chamber Orchestra Kremlin is composed of some of Russia's finest young string players and has earned national and international recognition as one of Russia's leading ensembles. Its musical director, Misha Rachlevsky, founded the orchestra in 1991.

In addition to performing throughout Russia, including festivals in Moscow, the orchestra has toured throughout North and South America, Europe and the Far East. The Chamber Orchestra Kremlin also has released more than 20 recordings, all of which have received critical acclaim.
