Bread and Words provides food for the soul and the stomach Nov. 25

Get into the Thanksgiving spirit Nov. 25 with the Universitys traditional Bread and Words annual dinner and readings, sponsored by the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts.

The soup and bread dinner, provided by languages and literature department faculty, will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom. Music will be provided by Chuck Emery.

Get into the Thanksgiving spirit Nov. 25 with the University's traditional Bread and Words annual dinner and readings, sponsored by the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts.

The soup and bread dinner, provided by languages and literature department faculty, will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom. Music will be provided by Chuck Emery.

Prose and poetry readings will begin at 7 p.m. This year's featured readers include visiting writer Bryan DiSalvatore, who has been hailed as “one of America's finest writers of nonfiction,” Dr. Blas Falconer, assistant professor of languages and literature, Lee Gray, Chris Hayes, Melissa Tyndall and Andrew Callis.

Admission is a $5 donation, which will benefit Loaves and Fishes. For further information, telephone 7031.
