Back by popular demand, David Caron to present leadership program

Austin Peays Office of Student Life and Leadership is bringing a relationship facilitator back to campus for a popular leadership development program. The program is open to students, faculty and staff.

Daniel Caron will serve as facilitator for Original Play, which is slated for 5:30-7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 30 in room 303 of the University Center.

Blanche Wilson, director of student life and leadership, said, We invited Daniel to campus last year, and his message was so well received weve invited him to return.

Austin Peay's Office of Student Life and Leadership is bringing a relationship facilitator back to campus for a popular leadership development program. The program is open to students, faculty and staff.

Daniel Caron will serve as facilitator for Original Play, which is slated for 5:30-7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 30 in room 303 of the University Center.

Original Play, which is designed to enhance relationships, is a skill-based, interactive program that provides an effective model of how to move beyond self-defense with kindness, clarity and courage. It demonstrates how to use one's energy to improve relationships, decrease stress and enhance productivity.

Caron brings 18 years of work in university student life, and his experience as a counseling and psychology practitioner enables him to help students respond effectively to challenging situations in all relationships.

Caron takes Original Play programs to youth groups, colleges, businesses and conferences nationwide. His articles on Original Play have been published in childcare and personal development publications.
