Austin Peay hosts ASCLS-TN Student Day Feb. 27

Austin Peays Medical Technology Program is hosting the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science-Tennessee Student Day.

The Student Day will be held 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 27, in the Morgan University Center.

This Student Day will bring medical technology majors from all over Tennessee together to hear topics related to the profession, says Dr. Mary Mayo, director of the Medical Technology Program.

The Student Day will be held 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 27, in the Morgan University Center.

“This Student Day will bring medical technology majors from all over Tennessee together to hear topics related to the profession,” says Dr. Mary Mayo, director of the Medical Technology Program.

The day's activities will include a panel discussion on professional opportunities, an update on bioterrorism and chemical terrorism and a final lecture with a focus on forensics.

The program is free to all CLS/CLT students enrolled in education programs in Tennessee. For more information, telephone Mayo at 7796.
