APSU students included in “Who's Who”

The 2005 edition of Whos Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges will include the names of 29 APSU students who have been selected as national outstanding campus leaders.

Honorees were recognized during the Division of Student Affairs Whos Who Luncheon on Feb. 1. Guest speaker Kevin Kennedy, attorney, addressed the group, challenging recipients to examine who they are, who they want to become and to strive for excellence in their chosen professions.

Honorees were recognized during the Division of Student Affairs' Who's Who Luncheon on Feb. 1. Guest speaker Kevin Kennedy, attorney, addressed the group, challenging recipients to examine who they are, who they want to become and to strive for excellence in their chosen professions.

This year's honorees are Gloriaetta Baldwin-James, Rhoan Campbell, D. Scott Carroll, Teresa Castillo, Dale Costner Jr., Benessa Defend, Jennifer Fix, Paul Fly, Deborah Gibbs, Joyce Gonzales, Treva Gordon, Joanna Grisham, Alisha Haden, Jennifer Hamm, Brandi Hutson, Mary Lee, Deana Miles, Janet Nelson, Jennifer Queen, Tara Rascoe, Justin Roper, Erica Savage, Laura Shaffer, Nicole Sipprell, Allen Sivley, Naydia Spears, Susan Vineta, Crystal Williams and Georgette Zamudio.

Campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory select students based on academic achievement, community service, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.

Published annually since 1934, “Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges” includes outstanding students from more than 2,000 national and international higher learning institutions.
