APSU students, alumni inducted into national leadership honor society

APSU students and alumni have been inducted into the local circle of Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK).

Students Bruce Anderson, Angela Chambers, Shay Hutchings, Wilfred Longo, Melody McGowan, Scarlett Moore, Zach Pelham, Erica Savage, Lacy Taylor, Brandon Trull and Amanda White, as well as alumni C. Nelson Boehms, Planters Bank vice president of commercial lending, and Fessey Marshall Hackney, Hazelwood Elementary School physical education teacher, were initiated Thursday, Dec. 2.
APSU students and alumni have been inducted into the local circle of Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK).

Nelson Boehms, Planter's Bank vice president of commercial lending, and Fessey Marshall Hackney, Hazelwood Elementary School physical education teacher, were initiated Thursday, Dec. 2.

Students are selected for academic achievement and participation in campus and community activities.

Faculty, staff, administrator and alumni member selections are based on exemplary character, superior scholarship and intelligence, responsible leadership, good citizenship and dedication to democratic ideals.

ODK is a national leadership honor society, with circles on 269 college and university campuses. The APSU circle of ODK was established in 1977.
