APSU staff members receive longevity service awards

Several Austin Peay State University were recognized May 15 for longevity service to the University.

Service awards are given in five-year increments beginning with five years of continuous employment at APSU. Each person recognized received a pin and certificate.

Two staff employees have been at APSU for 30 years, Virginia Dowlen and Wanda Welker.

Those having worked at APSU for 25 years are Brenda Harrison, Brenda Hunt, Brad Kirtley, Jeffery Long, John Bruce Tate and Ruth Traughber.

Recognized for 20 years of service were Tammy Delvendahl, Jo Ellen Freeman, Judith Garrett, Brian Hetland, Andy Kean, Gary McClure and Jennie Preston-Sabin.

Staff members honored for 15 years of service were Lorenzo, Cantu, David Johnson, Melissa Johnson, Darline Jones, Shirley Korbe, June Lee, Annette Marks, Kay Wadia, Joyce Walker, James Watson, Catherine Winn and Tina Zanders.

Those receiving 10-year pins were Donna Byrd, Carolyn Camill, Angela Chancellor, Marissa Chandler, Kim Kinslow, David Lemons, David McElroy, Stephen Pugh and Anita Winfield.

Employees having worked at APSU for five years are Kenneth Butts, Betty Christy, Kimara Clarke, Jill DeGraauw, Elizabeth Gonzalez, Elizabeth Hoilman, Jennifer D. Jackson, Carol Keller, Deanna Palmer, Lillian Obi, Marjorie Perrault, Gena Shire-Sgarlata, Diane Sperry, Shirley Tabb, Janet Velazquez, Steve Wilson, Jennifer Winkler and Elizabeth Wyatt. -- Melony Shemberger
