APSU presents the Wind Ensemble in concert

Austin Peay State Universitys department of music and the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts present the Wind Ensemble in concert.

The program will begin at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 8 in the concert hall of the music/mass communication building.

The concert will be conducted by Dr. Gregory Wolynec, professor of music, and guest conductors Andrea Brown, director of athletic bands, and Richard Burchett, graduate assistant.

Featuring Paul Hindemith's landmark “Symphony in B Flat,” the ensemble also will perform pieces by Dvorak, Holst, Tchaikovsky and Bonelli.

The concert is free and open to the public.
