APSU to offer new Asian studies minor beginning in Fall 2006

Austin Peay State University will offer a minor in Asian studies to students beginning in the Fall 2006 semester.

The minor in Asian studies, approved last fall, complements APSUs minors in African-American studies, international studies and Latin American studies, and contributes to the Universitys vision for teaching students to succeed in a global society.

The minor is hosted by the Geography Program and the departments of history and philosophy, and political science. The student must complete 18 hours from a selection of courses offered.
