APSU, NSCC announce partnership to benefit community college students

Austin Peay and Nashville State Community College announce a new partnership, which will benefit NSCC students looking to make the leap to a four-year university.

APSU President Sherry Hoppe and NSCC President George Van Allen signed a two-plus-two articulation agreement at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 9, at NSCC.

According to the agreement, the following associate degree programs at NSCC are guaranteed to be credited toward the Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies (BPS) at APSU:

•Business Management/Financial Services/Marketing/Small Business Administration Austin Peay and Nashville State Community College announce a new partnership, which will benefit NSCC students looking to make the leap to a four-year university.

•Police Science/Police Administration
•Social Services

APSU has signed similar agreements with Columbia State Community College, Hopkinsville Community College and Volunteer State Community College.
