APSU hosts Homecoming comedy show Nov. 4

Austin Peays Homecoming 2004 includes three rising stars of comedy.

The Homecoming Comedy Show–featuring Prescott, Patt Brown and Dan Mengini kicks off at 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 4, at Clement Auditorium, APSU.

Prescott, a staple on BETs Comic View for seven years, will headline P. Diddys Bad Boys of Comedy Tour beginning this December. Known as Funny Man Prescott on K-97 FM, he was the opening act for the record-breaking Kings of Comedy tour.

The Homecoming Comedy Show—featuring Prescott, Patt Brown and Dan Mengini kicks off at 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 4, at Clement Auditorium, APSU.

Prescott, a staple on BET's “Comic View” for seven years, will headline P. Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy Tour beginning this December. Known as “Funny Man Prescott” on K-97 FM, he was the opening act for the record-breaking Kings of Comedy tour.

Brown, a member of Atlanta's Black Top Comedy Improv Group, also has been featured on BET's “Comic View.” She has appeared with comedians Steve Harvey, Chris Tucker, Jamie Foxx and the Rev. D.L. Hughley.

Mengini, a finalist on “Ed McMahon's Next Big Star,” has appeared with Lewis Black, Dave Attell, Brett Butler, Bobcat Goldthwait and Caroline Rhea. You might recognize him from his national commercials for Comcast.

Tickets are $10 general admission. APSU students will be admitted free.
