APSU hosts 3rd Annual wheelchair basketball game

In observance of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, APSUs Office of Disability Services and the University Recreation Office present the 3rd Annual Wheelchair Basketball Game at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25 in Memorial Health Building (The Red Barn).

The Nashville Wheel Cats will compete against the Nashville Music City Lightning team. APSU students are invited to play along with the professional players. There will be a training session before the game to explain how to play basketball while in a wheelchair.

The event will include a wheelchair free-throw contest for prizes. APSU students with valid IDs will have the opportunity to participate in various activities and win door prizes.

Admission to the game is free. Snacks and refreshments will be available.
