All short films must be copyright free. There is no time limit on the short film submissions. However, only 30 minutes of the film will be shown during the festival.

A committee will preview submissions before short films will be granted admittance into the festival. Nudity and violence will not be tolerated if depicted in a way that the committee deems inappropriate.

Submitters will be notified prior to the festival if their film will be shown. The creators of the films selected will be allowed to address the audience for three to five minutes prior to the screening of their film.

An awards ceremony will close the festival, with the winner taking home $100 in cash.

All submissions are due by Thursday, March 7 to Kathie Lee, P.O. Box 4446, Clarksville, TN 37044.

For more information regarding submissions, contact Lee by telephone at (931) 221-7554, or by e-mail at leek@apsu.edu. To download the official entry form, visit www.myspace.com/apfilmfestival. -- Jessica Baird
