APSU Brass Ensembles perform Nov. 16

The music department and the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts at Austin Peay will present a concert by the APSU Brass Ensembles.

The performance–featuring the Trumpet Ensemble, Brass Quintet and Horn Ensemble–will take place at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 16, in the music/mass communication building concert theatre, APSU.

The Trumpet Ensemble, conducted by Dr. Richard Steffen, will perform works by Handel and Vassily Brandt.

The Brass Quintet will play Jack Gales Alexanders Ragtime Band.

The Brass Quintet will play Jack Gale's “Alexander's Ragtime Band.”

Francis Massinon will conduct the APSU Horn Ensemble through three pieces by Bach, as well as Wagner's “The King's Prayer.”

Admission is free and open to the public.
