APSU announces new staff hires since May; internal hires to be announced soon

Since May 1, 2005, several people have been hired in staff positions at Austin Peay State University. They include:

Crystal Emmons, specialist, Information Technology; Carl Ford, air conditioning and heating, Power Plant; Patricia Fries, buyer, Purchasing; Michael Wilson, manager of the GIS Project; Michele Priddy, counselor, Admissions; Kelley Darrell, police officer 1, Public Safety;
Roxanne Grachanin, account clerk, Human Resources.

Lorneth Fahie, admissions and records, Registrar; Deborah Taylor, Barry Coate and Chano Pardue, custodians, Custodial Services; Tracey Dawson, admissions and records clerk, Registrar; Greg Kaufman, director, Institute for Global Security Studies; Sherry Barnhard, analyst 2, Information Technology; Terry Stringer, assistant director for marketing, Public Relations and Marketing.

Justin Crosby, maintenance mechanic, Building Maintenance; Christi Copes, analyst 2, Information Technology; Pamela Snow, technical clerk, Registrar; Ann Trout, counselor, Admissions; Sanita Miller, secretary 2, Student Development Center; Josie Swisher, secretary 2, Agriculture; Andrea Gore, coordinator, University Recreation; Martha Andrews, technical clerk, School of Education; Shannon Gurwitch and Robyn White, personnel assistants, Human Resources/Affirmative Action.

New staff members in athletics are: Robert Ateca, assistant coach 1, Football; Joshua Sampson, coordinator, Athletic Enrichment; Charles Wells, assistant coach 1, Men's Basketball; Quacy Barnes, assistant coach 1, Women's Basketball; Megan Hammons, assistant coach 1, Women's Volleyball.

Over the summer, some APSU staff accepted new positions within the University. These staff members, their new titles and offices or departments will be announced in the near future.
