Mission Statement
     Our purpose is to provide students the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to become socially responsive citizens and to develop successful careers in the public and non-profit sectors.

Student Learning Outcomes
     We achieve this mission using the following learning outcomes:
     1.  Demonstrate a substantive knowledge about public and non-profit organizations,
          public policy, the political process, public service values and professional ethics.
     2.  Use quantitative, analytical, and diagnostic capabilities
          (statistical analysis, decision-
          making, and problem-solving), and apply these skills to organizational and    
          managerial issues.
     3.  Develop a working knowledge of best practices used to perform managerial and
          technical tasks (e.g. leadership, developing teams, human resource management
          techniques, budgeting/financial analysis, and information management.)
     4.  Develop effective written an oral communication skills that are
          essential for effective public administrators.

equity, individualism, and liberty.

Degrees Offered
Bachelor of Science in Public Management with a minor
Bachelor of Science in Public Management with concentrations in Criminal Justice or 
Management Technology

Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Homeland Security
(All bachelor degree options may be pursued at Fort Campbell, the APSU main campus or online.)
Associate of Applied Science in Management Technology

Public Management minor - A student with a major in a different field may also earn a minor in Public Management.
