Degree Requirements
(All Concentrations)
1.
B.S. core requirements include MATH 1530 Statistics, PHYS 2010/2011and 2020/2021College
Physics with lab. Also includes required courses in communications
(writing, public speaking), history, humanities, and social sciences
(see APSU bulletin for details). First time
freshmen must also take APSU 1000 (1 credit hour). Physics will
meet core requirements in science.
2.
Two math courses covering algebra, trigonometry and basic
calculus:
a. ENGT 1200 Applied Math in Eng. Tech. OR MATH 1730 Pre-calculus
b. ENGT 1400 Applied Calculus in Eng. Tech OR MATH 1810 Elements
of Calculus.
3. Engineering Technology core: 1000, 1020, 2010, 2020, 2030,
2730, 3000, 3010, 3020, 3030, 3040, and 3050.

Any ENGT courses,
any APSU courses or transfer credit in engineering technology,
engineering, computer science, or another technology related field. Courses should be in a common area,
and are subject to departmental approval. Other courses in Engineering
Technology are recommended. This includes technological AAS degree
programs offered by APSU at Fort Campbell and similar programs at
community colleges. It also includes all technically oriented military
training.
