Degree Requirements (All Concentrations)

1.      B.S. core requirements include MATH 1530 Statistics, PHYS 2010/2011and 2020/2021College Physics with lab. Also includes required courses in communications (writing, public speaking), history, humanities, and social sciences (see APSU bulletin for details).  First time freshmen must also take APSU 1000 (1 credit hour).  Physics will meet core requirements in science.

2.      Two math courses covering algebra, trigonometry and basic calculus:
a.  ENGT 1200 Applied Math in Eng. Tech. or MATH 1730 Pre-calculus
b.  ENGT 1400 Applied Calculus in Eng. Tech OR MATH 1810 Elements of Calculus.

3.   Engineering Technology core:  1000, 1020, 2010, 2020, 2030, 2730, 3000, 3010, 3020, 3030, 3040, and 3050.

Electrical Concentration with Electronics Emphasis (36 Hours)

ENGT 3200, 3210, 3220, 3230, 3240, 3250, 4150, 4200, 4210, 4220; plus (6) elective hours from the following:  ENGT 3100, 3800, 4120, 4850 or others with departmental approval.

Electrical Concentration with Robotics Emphasis (36 Hours)

ENGT 3100, 3200, 3220, 3230, 3240, 3250, 3800, 4120, 4150, 4850; plus (6) elective hours from the following:  ENGT 3210, 3650,3810, 3830, 4200, 4210, 4220, 4991 or others with departmental approval.
