Description:
The celebration began on March 13, with the kick-off to the 25th anniversary of the successful conclusion of Deaf President Now. Deaf History Month will conclude on April 15, 2013, commemorating the date of the opening of the American School for the Deaf, the first public deaf school in the United States started in 1817.
