Today, April 1 at 11:15 in SSC E-106A, Dr. Folashade Agusto, Asst. Prof. of Math, APSU, discusses the sterile insect technique (SIT), a method for managing mosquito populations without potential impacts of insecticide use. She considers the role of female choosiness in determining the long-term usefulness of SIT and how natural selection for female choice alters management strategies.
