Description: 
Monday, March 25 at 11:15, Dr. Jim Mead, Professor and Chair of Geosciences, ETSU, will discuss the Grey Fossil Site, a 7-4 million year old deposit that indicates Southern Appalachia had a tropical/sub-tropical environment with plant and animal species illustrating dispersal connections from Central America and eastern Asia as well as SE North America.
