In September, we have three sessions of our State of Tennessee approved parent education seminar - Parenting & Divorce. The goal of the seminar is to promote communication as well as to strengthen the family unit by focusing on the children, identifying warning signs of anger & depression in them, & addressing the trauma they face due to divorce/separation. CEDE is offering a series of Word 2010 courses. Improve your communication capabilities with tables, flyers, envelopes, invitations, reports, & more. The first class, Basics, begins Sept 3. Followed by Intermediate on Sept 22. Classes are on campus, Mons & Weds, 6:00-8:30pm, & each meets four times. Cost is $97.50 each for APSU faculty & staff.
ESL General English program starts in Sept. Courses include Intermediate ESL (Weds or Sats) & Adv Grammar & Writing (Thurs). Depending on course, students will work on conversational skills, speaking, vocab, pronunciation, grammar, & writing. Courses are tailored based on the needs & level of the registered students.
