Scientific and Medical Terminology is a new, 3 credit hour course for fall 2016, taught on-line. CLAS 2110-W1 CRN 3822 will provide students in all the sciences, nursing, rad tech, and pre-med tracks with a thorough grounding in the Greek and Latin roots of their terminology. Enormously helpful for Anatomy and Physiology, for biology, anyone majoring/minoring in sciences. No pre-requisite.

Yes, you CAN major in Greek and/or Latin at APSU. Classics, the study of ancient languages, prepares you for a variety of jobs. Teaching is only one career path. Jobs are currently available all over the country for high school Latin teachers. Archaeology, seminary, museum studies, international law, medicine, and many other fields are open to Classics majors. The past may just be your future!
