Women In Athletics Celebration

Austin Peay’s Celebration of Women in Athletics is an event to recognize the growth of women’s sports and raise funds for an endowment.

Each year, Women in Athletics will focus specifically on one sport and/or milestone. In addition, the goal is to celebrate women’s achievements in athletics and raise money for the women’s athletic programs at APSU.

For 2012-13 Austin Peay’s Celebration of Women in Athletics will spotlight the 40^th anniversary of Title IX, featuring several weekend events. More information to come.

Fun Walk to Celebrate Women

Dunn Center

Join or create a team and walk the Austin Peay campus to help raise awareness and funds for the APSU women's athletic programs. The walk begins at 9 a.m. on Drane Street near the Cheryl Holt Softball Field and ends in the same location.

Registration is $10 per person, which is tax deductible. All registered walkers will receive a t-shirt. If you are interested in joining or creating a team please complete the forms below. There are no limits on team size, but each must have a team captain. If you would like to particpate but don't have a team, contact the Alumni Relations Office.

Walker Donation Record Form

The Walker Donation Record Form allows walkers to keep track of all donations they collect for APSU women's athletics. These forms and money will need to be turned in to your team captain or the APSU Alumni Relations Office. 

Donation Receipt Forms

The Donation Receipt Forms are to be given to the individual that makes a donation. Following the event they will be sent a letter acknowledging their contribution to APSU women's athletics.
