The State of Tennessee, the Tennessee Board of Regents, Austin Peay State University (APSU), the Department of Health & Human Performance (HHP), and the National Alumni Association (NAA) are not liable for injuries or losses sustained through participation in recreational activities. APSU, HHP and the NAA strongly recommend that all participants have proper medical coverage. Information regarding student health insurance can be found at Student Health Services in Ellington 104 (221-7107). Serious or potentially serious injuries should be treated as soon as possible. I assume all risks associated with walking in this event, including but no limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including extreme cold, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release APSU, HHP and the NAA and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I grant APSU, HHP and the NAA permission to use my likeness in any photographic record. Please type name of participant in the above box.
