2012 OVC BASEBALL TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Austin Peay State University's baseball team has clinched a spot in the 2012 Ohio Valley Conference Baseball Championship to be held May 23-27 at Pringles Park in Jackson, Tenn. It is the second consecutive year the Govs have made the trip to Jackson and they want to share the following ticket information with their fans.
Pringles Park is the home of the Jackson Generals, the Double-A affi liate of the Seattle Mariners. The 6,000-seat natural grass stadium opened in 1998. Pringles Park is located off Interstate 40 in west Jackson (Google Maps).
Tickets for the OVC Baseball Championship are $10 per day or $30 for an all-session pass. In addition, an all-session student tournament pass is available for $25 per student ($8 per day). Tickets are available through the Jackson Generals box office (731-988-5299) or may be purchased online through the Jackson Generals website (www.jacksongeneralsbaseball.com – link will take you directly to the OVC Championship ticket page).
In addition, fans who are unable to make the trip to Jackson can watch all games of the tournament via live streaming video at OVCSports.tv. The league also will provide live statistics through the OVCSports.com website. Finally, Austin Peay will provide free live audio for each of the Govs baseball games on LetsGoPeay.com and over the air on WVRY 105.1 FM.
CHAMPIONSHIP GAME DAY “Pre-Game Reception”
The Office of Alumni Relations will host a Championship Game Day “Pre-Game Reception” should the Bat Govs make it to the OVC Championship game. The reception will be free to all APSU fans, alumni and friends and will take place one hour prior to game time. The Pre-Game Reception will take place in the picnic area located at Pringles Park.

"Keeping the Dream of Wilma Rudolph Alive" 5th Annual Scholarship Gala

The Clarksville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will recognize our Soror Wilma Glodean "Skeeter" Rudolph's birthday by celebrating the accomplishments and legacy of our hometown heroine with the 5th Annual Scholarship Gala.
You assistance is needed to help raise money for a scholarship established in Wilma's honor. In earnest, "Keeping the Dream of Wilma Rudolph Alive," supports a female student-athlete in her community and alma mater, Austin Peay State and Tennessee State Universities.
This year's Wilma Rudolph scholarship recipient will be a female Track and Field student-athlete at Austin Peay State University. In an effort to meet our goal, your donations are appreciated. We are asking businesses, organizations, churches and individuals to make donations to this worthy scholarship.

APSU's Alumni University

2013 International Trip for Alumni & Friends: GERMANY – “The History of the Holocaust” with Dr. Dewey Browder
Join us as we travel to Europe to uncover cultural and historical treasures and to learn about life in various countries! APSU professor and chair of the History & Philosophy Department, Dr. Dewey Browder, will serve as the tour guide on this “once in a lifetime” trip! This thirteen day trip will begin in Paris, France, take us through Versailles, Munich, Nuremburg and Rothenburg, just to name a few cities. You will learn the history of one of the world’s most historical subjects – The Holocaust – and be guided through areas that you would not typically have the opportunity to visit.
