The TBR Offices of the General Counsel and Human
Resources are pleased to announce a System wide On-Line
Title VI Training module. The package is now available on
the TBR web page.
Title VI prohibits discrimination on the basis of
race. Because we take this seriously, we have developed
this online System On-Line Training module. Employees
shall be trained annually on the provisions of Title VI,
e.g. for this year, July 1, 2006-June 30, 2007. The
training is mandatory for the following employees:
- Deans / Department Heads / Chairs
- Supervisors
- AA / EEO Officers
- HR Directors and their Staff
- All TBR Central Office employees
- New employees at any institution or the Central
Office
- Title VI Coordinators
- All campus federal program administrators
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Go to the
Online Title VI Training Site
with password set to “compliance” (all lowercase, no
quotes).
Upon taking the quiz, the end user will receive a web
page certificate ready for printing and an email is sent
to the address provided.
There is also an opportunity to enter an optional
second email address.
The user identifies their institution from a drop
down menu. The human resources officer and affirmative
action officer of that institution (college or
university) will receive an email verification of test
results.
In addition, the generic address HR-Training.Title-VI@tbr.edu
will receive a copy of the verification email. Everyone
in HR has access to that account. All results are being
written to a database on the TBR web server.
Our special thanks to the TBR RODP staff and their
assistance in this effort.
