Each year the APSU Governors Bass Tournament is held at Kentucky Lake with registration and boat launching from Paris Landing State Park. The popular two-man fishing tournament benefits Austin Peay athletics. As a fishing tournament sponsor your business's logo will be viewed by crowds of sportsmen.

Come out and join us for a great time of meeting friends, enjoying food, and of course fishing at its best! Many door prizes are given along with a top door prize. We start promoting this event in late December and early January through the date of the event which typically falls on the second Saturday of May. We direct mail flyers to former participants, bass clubs, and businesses that help to promote the tournament. We also place flyers directly on vehicles that ar actually fishing other are tournaments.

We have had participants join us from as far away as New York and Texas with the bulk of participants coming from Tennessee and Kentucky. This year we will distribute 18,000+ flyers which include our sponsors' names. Our tournament has grown to attract 300 plus boats.

The event is also promoted with The Leaf Chronicle, Sportsmen's Digest, and several area radio stations. By becoming a Corporate Sponsor you can help insure continued success of this event and get your company's name in front of literally thousands of potential customers.
